As vice president of government affairs, Pierre Pyun leads government relations activities in Canada for Bombardier Inc., Bombardier Aerospace, and Bombardier Transportation. A lawyer by training, Pyun has significant background in international trade, having served with the Canadian federal government since 1998. Most recently, he managed sector practices and developed and implemented global commercial strategies for the Canadian government in Ottawa. Prior to this mandate, Pyun worked at Canadian diplomatic posts in China from 2001–2009, including as a senior trade commissioner at the Canadian Embassy in Beijing. Pyun holds degrees in common law and civil law from McGill University and completed a Certificate in International Commerce at the University of Montreal. He is fluent in French, English, Mandarin and Korean.
